Matthew Carlson (screenwriter, producer, actor). As a screenwriter, his TV pilot THE BISLEY BOY won the SXSW Film Festival Episodic Pitch-a-thon and his script for the short film OVERNIGHT was a semi-finalist for the Austin Film Festival Script Competition. As a playwright, his plays HOME, SWEET and INSIDE THE HAND were a finalist and semifinalist, respectively, for National Playwrights Conference at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. As an actor he’s worked at theatres across the country: The Public Theater and Shakespeare in the Park in NYC, Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, and Shakespeare Theatre of DC. He graduated with a BS in Theatre from Northwestern University and an MFA in Acting from NYU.
Thomas Mendolia (director, producer) While training to be an actor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Thomas discovered his fascination for storytelling, focusing on magical realism as a means to further explore the reality around him. Directing: Shorts: WHEN TREES FALL (2018 Semi-Finalist Los Angeles CineFest), VOID (USC), WAKES (USC), THE MAGICIAN’S ASSISTANT, CUBA LIBRE, LETHE AVENUE (official entry in 2015 NYC Filmmakers Festival), and THE HOLLERS. Thomas is an MFA Production candidate at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.
